I watched a clip from a Rick Santorum political meeting in Florida. One of the attendees had the floor and spoke to Rick Santorum about her belief that President Obama was not born in America (yes, that same birthier crap) and that she would not call him "president" since he legally didn't deserve the title. Santorum listened to her, smiling all the while. She wanted to know when someone was going to do something about "it". Rick said "I'm going to do something about it". He didn't bother to set the record straight and affirm that indeed Barack Obama was born in the U. S. and that he is the duly elected President of the United States. At that moment, I lost all respect for "Righteous Rick". It seems that the truth doesn't matter and so he didn't accept responsibility for setting the record straight. Maybe "Righteous Rick" thought it would cost him a few votes.
Shame on you, Rick! Obviously the truth doesn't matter to you. John McCain publicly told a supporter that President Obama was born in this country and that he wasn't a Muslim, adding that although he disagreed with some of Obama's positions, he was a good man.
Since you know you won't be your party's presidential nominee, are you hoping for the number two spot on the ticket?
Even Nasty Newt affirms the fact that Barack Obama is not a "Muslim", but is a Christian...though he took the opportunity to raise the issue of his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright.
Get some backbone Rick, stand for the truth like you pretend to do.
