Doug Hampton, former staffer for NV Senator John Ensign and husband of Ensign's mistress, wants the Senator to resign now. Since the Senate Ethics Committee is only concerns itself with sitting members of the Senate, Ensign's resignation would end the Committee's probe.
Democrats better get a good candidate for this race since you never know who Nevada’s electorate will select in a primary. Could be that the chicken lady, Sue Lowden may run on the Republican ticket. Maybe Sharon Angle may run again, even after her epic loss, or someone just as extreme may come out of the Republican primary.
