Legislation to reinstate Unemployment Benefits to millions who have been out of work for six months cleared another hurdle. Senator Carte Goodwin, W. Va's replacement for deceased Senator Robert Bryd, was sworn in and immediately voted for the measure.
Goodwin was joined by Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, two Republicans from Maine, while one lone Democrat, Ben Nelson, voted 'no". This ensures another victory for President Obama.
