Dept. of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack is rethinking the Shirley Sherrod incident which resulted in Sherrod's resignation. It appears that the incident happened more than two decades ago, that Sherrod did provide the farmer in question with assistance and additional resources, and that the initial information was not straight forward. Meanwhile, Sherrod says she might not want her job back, fearing adverse treatment in the future.
It's a story that we need to keep our eyes on. We'll keep you posted.
